News from Loveland’s faith communities this week includes a children’s camp and LGBTQ + pride service and a rally to sing hymns.

Quest camp for children from June 14 to 16

Calvary Derby Hill will be offering the Kids Quest Camp from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Wednesday June 14-16 at Sherri Mar Park, 1915 Deborah Drive, Loveland.

It will include games, arts, songs, and Bible stories for children in Kindergarten to Grade 5.

Unitarians to host LGBTQ + pride service

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Namaqua will host an LGBTQ + pride service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 13 at Mehaffey Park Shelter # 1, 3285 W. 22nd St., Loveland.

Praise associate Elizabeth Fraser and Director of Religious Education Janen Wright will present the service.

June is Pride Month, and the congregation will celebrate by sharing their experiences as members of the LBGTQ + community and as allies.

Bring your own picnic and head out to learn more about each other and what each of us can do for all of us to be a part of our beloved community.

Walker Hymn Sing scheduled for June 19

The 2021 Walker Hymn Sing takes place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 19 at 5925 E. Harmony Road, Fort Collins.

The evening of outdoor congregational song will feature hymns, gospel songs and special music.

Free entry.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Picnic dinners are also welcome. The grounds will open at 4:30 p.m.

First United Presbyterian Church Charity Sale (1st to 4th)Friday, June 11, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 12, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 400 E. Fourth St., Loveland. Items will be half price after noon on June 12 and free for those who need them after 1 p.m.

Loveland’s First United Presbyterian Church will host Singing Socials from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays June 16 and 23, July 7, 14 and 21, and August 11, 18 and 25 outside at 3220 Beech Drive, Loveland, across from Benson Sculpture Park. Social ice cream, 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at Westside Park, 466 W. Fourth St., Loveland. Trinity United Methodist Church and the First United Methodist Church will come together to host a community-wide social ice cream with games and fellowship. Register at bit.ly/3pi9lnX.

Study of the revelations, 6 p.m. every Tuesday through July 6, First Christian Church, 2000 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland. Using the revised study titled “Breaking the Code: Understanding the Book of Revelation,” the program will include a video segment followed by a discussion led by a member of the congregation.
