Fife Beauty Spot campsite wins “ Scotland’s best campsite ” award
Silverburn Park campsite has been voted the best campsite in Scotland 2020/21 at the Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards.
The campsite reopened last year after a period of renovation by the new owners Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) as a place for reflection and fun.
The Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards recognize small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.
All proposed shortlisted companies are invited to substantiate their application with evidence of their work, positive feedback from their visitors, information on previous accreditations and recognitions, as well as highlighting the most outstanding aspects of their business. The winners are those who can best demonstrate their strengths in these areas.
FEAT Park tenants backed his nomination with evidence of work being done in the park and positive feedback from visitors, as well as highlighting the outstanding parts of the Flax Mill project, which aims to see the old mill at linen renovated into a multi-million pound drop-in center. and a community hub in early 2026.
Silverburn Campsite is just 400 meters from the Fife Coastal Path and a short walk or bike ride to Leven Beach and the amenities of Leven town center.
It has three heated eco-pods for glamping and space for four motorhomes and twelve tents. The site is also dog friendly and has a communal fire pit with log seating and individual fire pit fireplaces with packages complete with logs, kindling, fire starters and marshmallows.
