New glamping site planned in Northumberland
Vacation accommodation is provided on the grounds of Causey Park Farm.
One application requests a change-of-use authorization to accommodate glamping accommodation, including shepherd’s huts, lodges or custom-built caravans.
A planning report in the name of the applicant, Ms. C Hogg, states: âThe change in land use will allow the establishment of small-scale glamping accommodation which is temporary and mobile in nature.
âThe applicant intends to locate the glamping accommodation north of the application site near the north perimeter wall.
âViews of the site will be limited by the natural topography, built-up development and the well-established forest.
âThe public benefits for glamping accommodation at this location are employment, visitor accommodation, vacation accommodation, offsite visitor spending in stores / services / attractions. “
